Mission Statement

Despite for some time comprising greater than 50% of students graduating with law degrees, women in the legal profession have always been underrepresented in senior ranks.

TWL aims to improve this situation by providing opportunities for its members to meet in a supportive environment to network, exchange information and experiences, encourage each other and foster mentoring of more junior members. TWL also actively looks for opportunities to lobby for improvements in the structure of legal profession and the law in general, particularly as it affects women.
